Missouri Offenses That Cannot Be Expunged
Missouri excludes certain offenses from expungement. Here are the main categories that generally can’t be cleared, but don’t rule yourself out based on a list, because the details of your case matter.
Generally NOT eligible
- Class A felonies
- Dangerous felonies as defined by Missouri statute
- Any offense that requires sex-offender registration
- Felonies where death is an element of the offense
- Felony assault, any domestic assault (misdemeanor or felony), and felony kidnapping
- Certain enumerated violent, child, and weapons offenses
Don’t assume you’re barred
